I took this background photo in Venice more than three years ago. It was the last hurrah for my film camera. This was my last roll of black and white. I got back home and was gifted with a digital at Christmas time. I love Venice more than any other place on earth. My family promises to scatter my ashes in the canals. Even in death, I will cling to the edifices I love to gaze upon.
